I went hunting for these folders using MFCMAPI. (Get-MailboxFolderStatistics -Identity -FolderScope NonIpmRoot).Count To get mailbox folder count including hidden folders execute in Exchange shell: I know that Outlook cached mode has issues with more than 500 folders. I actually see about 75 or so folders in Outlook. This may be related but none of their suggestions help: Įdit: Moving the mailbox between databases did not help.ĭuring the mailbox move I noticed it mentioned that my mailbox had 538 folders. Someone suggested moving the mailbox to another database but that's something I'll try as a last resort. Moved all Inbox mail to another folder to see if one was corrupted. Tried Outlook switches /cleanrules, /cleanviews, /resetfolders, /cleanips. Removed the Outlook profile on both machines and cleared out related files from the AppData. I have tried running a MailboxRepairRequest on the mailbox. Outlook for Mac, iOS, and OWA update fine. This happens on two of my Windows machines. What's interesting is that subfolders of Inbox update automatically without issue. I have to click 'update folder' under Send/Receive tab or restart Outlook to get it to sync. My mailbox refuses to show new email in Inbox automatically.
